January 2010: Optiqua receives the 2009 Asia Pacific Frost & Sullivan New Product Innovation Award 

Optiqua Technologies Pte Ltd has been awarded the 2009 Asia Pacific New Product Innovation Award by Growth Partnership Company Frost & Sullivan for its water contamination detection and sensing technologies. Research analysts at Frost & Sullivan evaluated Optiqua Technologies’ superior performance against key competitors on a range of criteria, including the innovative qualities of Optiqua’s technology platform and added value to its customers.

January 2010: Optiqua introduces new online version of EventLabTM

The new online version of Optiqua EventLab™ is part of extensive test programs in collaboration with Optiqua’s launching customers, in preparation of the full scale market launch.

October 2009: Optiqua at Netherlands-Singapore Water Innovation Forum

Melchior van Wijlen, MD Optiqua, was one of the speakers at the Water Innovation Forum, organised as part of the visit of the Dutch Innovation Platform (chaired by Dutch Prime Minister Balkenende) to Singapore.

 

September 2009: Optiqua moves to its new Research Centre at Waterhub

The new Optiqua Research Centre is located at national water agency PUB's WaterHub, providing access to a high profile community of water technology R&D organisations. The new facilities support Optiqua's plans for further expanding its research and product development activities.

June 2009: Optiqua participates in SIWW 2009.

During SIWW 2009, Optiqua introduced the stand-alone bench top version of Optiqua EventLabTM to the international water industry, attracting substantial attention and media coverage.

May 2009: EDB grants Optiqua subsidy grant.

The Economic Development Board of Singapore awarded Optiqua with a grant under the innovation Development Scheme. The grant supports the R&D activities of Optiqua in Singapore and is a recognition of the valuable contribution Optiqua brings to the water technology sector in Singapore.

 

June 2008: Optiqua participates in SIWW 2008

At the first Singapore International Water Week 2008, Optiqua signs an agreement with PUB for a joint collaboration on sensor technology, involving a series of test programs and an active role of PUB as a potential customer.
